1. Mobile Developer

Magic seeks a developer for our new and expanding Mobile Development Team, which is responsible for the development and enhancement of our Magic xpa mobile clients (mostly iOS and Android).

Required:

  • At least one year of experience in native iOS development (ObjectiveC)
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in C/C++ programming
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in object-oriented programming

2. Technical Consultant for the Magic xpi Integration Platform team

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Reports to: Team Leader 
Location: Or Yehuda, Israel 
Role: Provide solutions to customer queries, on a deep technical level.  Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support. 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide functional expertise in the technical support process
  • Work with customers to ensure highest satisfaction level
  • Documenting all case details, investigation and resolution
  • Communicating with QC & Product Management in order to bring to product problems resolutions
  • Creating knowledge units for the knowledgebase
  • Training courses
  • Providing consulting services – on-site support and specific training
 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

Related Knowledge &Experience: 
  • Familiarity with databases (at least MSSQL / Oracle)
  • Familiarity with XML  (at least as a concept)
  • Familiarity with web services
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture
  • Programming experience in any 3G language (preferably .Net / Java)
  • Experience in providing customer care - advantage
  • Familiarity with iBOLT / other integration tools – advantage
  • Experience in conducting course – advantage

Role:
Provide solutions to technical customer queries that relate to our IBMi based line of products, on a global scale.

Software Development Manager

Infodata, an established UK based developer and supplier of hospitality management solutions to hotels, private members club and pub/restaurants throughout the UK, are currently looking to recruit an experienced and creative Senior Developer to take over the role of Development Manager from the founder and MD. 

Ideally you will be a computer/IT graduate with a minimum of 10 years development experience, much of it with Magic,  v9.4 or uniPaaS.  Some experience of .Net development and other technologies will be a distinct advantage.

The successful applicant will be a creative developer who will lead our software development team building business applications for the hotel and hospitality market. Applications include hotel reservations, property management, event management, stock management, EPOS, club membership and a suite of web based services.

You will have an open minded and flexible approach, be capable of prioritising work and managing projects, but also enjoy hands on development as a creative type as well as mentoring team members.  You will also work with the two Directors on future software direction and product strategy.
