Sales Development Representative

Location: UK Office (Bracknell)


Position Description - Sales Development Representative

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated Sales Development Representative for North Europe (UK and Eire, Benelux and Nordics), This position is an integral part of the sales and marketing Lead-to-Revenue machine and initiates the relationship between the company and prospects. 

The primary responsibility is to qualify and nurture inquiries that are currently generated inbound via numerous marketing campaigns, as well as identifying and developing leads and opportunities from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery and individual research.

Magic Software has a global presence in more than 50 countries, including 14 regional offices and a global network of business partners

 

Reporting Relationships:

This role reports to the North Europe territory manager and will have significant collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams in the local regions and in Magic Headquarters. The role is based in our UK office in Bracknell. 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for meeting or exceeding monthly qualified lead objectives and quotas.

• Follow up promptly and diligently on leads and inquiries, delivering a positive prospect experience throughout the process.

• Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up qualification in order to move opportunities into the sales funnel.

• Perform thorough needs assessment and identify prospects pain points to determine how Magic Integration’s solutions address those needs.

• Conduct outbound telemarketing activities against targeted accounts, prospect lists, and other call campaigns.

• Position Magic value proposition to multiple vertical segments in the medium-large business.  

• Actively participate in trade show/event planning to secure attendees and maximize prospect meetings for the Sales team.

• Maintain accurate records of all activities in the CRM system (SalesForce.com).

• Promote database cleanup and hygiene through regular and ongoing maintenance activities.

• Conduct research to expand prospect list Account based marketing approach (via  LinkedIn and other methods) 

 

Required Experience and Skills:

• 1+ Years of Software Sales experience; Integration or SaaS sales is a plus.

• Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening).

• Drive, conscientiousness and perseverance to conduct outbound contacts daily.

• A dynamic “hunter” personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.

• Team oriented 

• Experience using Salesforce.com is required; use of Marketo preferred.

 

Education:

• Bachelor of Arts/Science degree, preferably in Technology, Sales or Marketing.
