Magic Software Appoints Markus Hirsch as Regional Business Development Director of Central Europe

Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: MGIC), a global provider of end-to-end integration and application development solutions, announced today the appointment of Markus Hirsch as Regional Business Development Director of Central Europe.

In the newly created role, Markus Hirsch will leverage his proven business development experience to manage and develop partnerships with independent software vendors, OEM partners, system integrators, value added distributors, resellers and consulting firms in accordance with the recently launched Magic Integration Partner Program. He will report to Stephan Romeder, Vice President Global Business Development at Magic Software.

Before joining Magic Software, the sports enthusiast from Munich spent three years as Channel Account Director at LivePerson, a technology provider for online messaging, marketing and analysis. Prior to that, he established a network of technology, integration, hosting and consulting partners as Director Alliances & Channel Sales at e-spirit AG, a solution provider for content management systems. He has extensive know-how in the areas of system engineering, pre-sales, partner and direct sales based on his previous experience at TIBCO Spotfire, BEA Systems, Mercury Interactive, Candle GmbH and Nemetschek AG.
