Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC), a global provider of cloud and on-premise enabled application platform and business integration solutions, together with Comm-IT, today announced a new contract with the Israeli Ashdod port, for the supply of Magic Software’s iBOLT business integration suite.
Using the iBOLT integration suite, Ashdod port will manage several procedures including the container release process and the integration of employee data within the SAP system and ORACLE database.
Releasing containers is typically a complex process which requires interfacing with different data systems and platforms. Using iBOLT, the Ashdod port will be able to manage the entire process faster, and with a significant reduction in human errors.
iBOLT will also be used to automatically synchronize the port’s employee data which is stored on both the SAP system and ORACLE database and which, until now, had to be manually updated every time a change was made to either system.
Commenting on the deal, Itzhak Shabtai, CIO for the Ashdod port says, “After reviewing several options, we chose the iBOLT integration suite for its significant ROI benefits. The iBOLT integration suite will allow us to manage complicated processes while saving the port time and considerable expense. iBOLT provides us with a full, real-time view of all systems in our organization ».
Yoram Aharon, CEO for Magic Software Israel, « Choosing iBOLT as its integration platform emphasises the importance Ashdod port ascribes to achieving efficient business process synchronization and data integration. By utilizing iBOLT’s code-free, business-ready approach, Ashdod port will be implementing an integration project that’s easier to conceptualize, design and complete to their unique business specifications ».
Through integration, iBOLT helps companies get more value from their IT investments by automating manual and repetitive workflows and freeing sales teams to focus on selling. With an integrated view of company data, management and employees can make more informed business decisions, get more value from each business interaction and achieve faster time to market for their products and services.
