Magic Software Enterprises France, a subsidiary of Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC), a global provider of cloud and on-premise enabled application platform and business integration solutions, today announced a partnership with a leading French system integrator, Osiatis, that will enable existing Magic Software uniPaaS customers to rapidly migrate to the latest uniPaaS RIA.
Osiatis is a leading French system integrator and provider of infrastructure services and new technologies development specialist. A fully dedicated Magic Software competence center has also been created within Osiatis’ engineering division and its engineers will shortly be receiving Magic Software certification.
uniPaaS is Magic Software’s comprehensive platform for the development and deployment of client-server business IT applications. The latest version enables companies to efficiently build and deploy rich internet applications (RIA) – an essential element of cloud computing, mobile enterprise applications and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings.
Alain Roumilhac, Osiatis group Executive General Manager says: „Considering how complementary Osiatis and Magic Software’s businesses are, this partnership represents the very logical evolution of our engineering offering. There’s a strong trend to SaaS which Osiatis is capable of answering, especially with its business units dedicated to the development of new technologies.”
„With this partnership, and thanks to Osiatis’ proven expertise, our enterprise customers and ISV partners will be able to migrate their existing client-server applications into advanced rich internet applications without having to make extensive changes to their existing codebase,” declared Eric Choppe, General Manager of Magic Software South Europe. “With RIA, enterprises and ISV’s will immediately begin to benefit from a plethora of advantages ranging from a more compelling end-user experience to the massive economies of growth and scale that cloud computing opens the door to,” he added.
Osiatis enjoys a large geographical coverage, with more than 32 branches throughout France including major cities such as Lille, Strasbourg, Lyon, Grenoble, Marseille, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Orléans, Nantes, Rennes, Rouen, Paris and its suburban area and more, with many of these branches housing engineering service centers.
The agreement was officially revealed in Paris, on May 6th, during Magic Software France’ uniPaaS launch event.
