At Cloud Computing Congress, David Akka, Managing Director of Magic Software Enterprises UK, EIRE and Nordics, will discuss how a ‘hybrid’ application environment enables companies to more efficiently build applications in the Cloud while giving them the freedom to deploy their application in any format, both on-premise and in the Cloud, to gain maximum market exposure.

The presentation will take place on Tuesday, March 16, 2009, from 11.30 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. at Olympia, London. In addition, Magic Software Enterprises will be holding two practical workshops on 15 and 16 March to introduce cloud application development and a practical demonstration for hybrid and mobile cloud computing.

At DevWeek on 16 and 17 March at the Barbican Centre in London, the company will be highlighting its uniPaaS application platform, which offers an extremely fast and intuitive method of building and deploying mobile and rich internet applications. The Magic Software team will be on hand to explain how its meta-data driven application platform, uniPaaS can overcome development hurdles of building mobile applications, ranging from the complexities of delivering ‘rich internet’ functionality, to the form limitations of mobile devices and the psychological barriers they impart upon business users.

Akka has held the position of Managing Director of Magic Software Enterprises UK for close to five years, and is responsible for the successful introduction of uniPaaS to the UK market, where developers and enterprises are already using it to develop applications which can be later repurposed for different channels, including the cloud, without the need to code all over again from scratch.
