Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC), a global provider of mobile and

platform” target=”_blank”>business integration platforms, today announced that it has signed a Site License agreement with the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, which has decided to adopt uniPaaS RIA as the central platform for its Magic systems. The migration to uniPaaS RIA is an important part of the university’s strategy to implement more technologically advanced information systems.

Over the years, many widely-used Magic applications have been developed at the Hebrew University, some of which, including HR and student-related applications, have become of central importance to the institution’s information systems.

Basing these systems on uniPaaS RIA technology will make them more easily accessible to users, and will give them the potential to reach greater audiences. Moreover, it will also reduce the required investment in resources due to the savings derived from lower support and maintenance costs.

“We are very pleased that what is regarded as one of the top 100 universities in the world has chosen our advanced technology,” said Yoram Aharon, General Manager of Magic Israel. “Magic’s cloud-enabled uniPaaS RIA technology is developing fast, and we will soon be able to provide the university with the new capability of deploying their applications on mobile devices.”
