Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: MGIC), a global provider of mobile and cloud-enabled application and business integration platforms, announced today that Cape plc, a leading international provider of essential non-mechanical industrial services, has chosen iBOLT to integrate its SAP R/3 and non-SAP resources, including SQL 2005, SQL 2008, MS Excel, and Oracle databases. Cape selected iBOLT to enable it to quickly combine and analyze data from its various SAP and non-SAP systems, used across all customer sites.

Using the iBOLT integration platform, Cape has integrated and synchronized stock information from customer sites between the SAP ETM system and their various site systems, using electronic forms created in .NET to replace the current paper form system. This solution enables a much more accurate, real-time view of available stock, even including stock that is in transit. As a result, key decision makers can make quicker, better informed decisions, driving business performance and improving work processes.

David Jones, UK Region Head of IT at Cape plc, said: “We worked with Magic Software in a proof-of-concept trial over a five-day period, and were impressed by iBOLT’s ability to complete the required tasks in just one day. Following an extensive knowledge transfer, we are now finding new and innovative ways to use iBOLT on a daily basis, and can focus more on building strategic business processes.”

David Akka, Managing Director of Magic Software UK, commented: “The primary requirement for this project was an integration tool that combines rapid integration with ease of use and cost-efficiency, while also being certified by SAP and robust enough to meet Cape plc’s complex requirements. We’re pleased that iBOLT is fulfilling our customer’s specific business needs.”
