5 Key Benefits To Boosting Business With Systems Integration

The market for system integration is booming. The global system integration market is expected to reach $393.10 billion USD by 2020, according to a recent study by Grand View Research, Inc. Infiniti Research’s Global System Integration Market 2015-2019 report forecasts the global system integration market to grow at a CAGR of 6.29% over the period 2014 – 2019.

The exploding market is due to the fact the systems integration is the central enabler of today’s major business trends, including digital transformation, enterprise mobility, IoT, and self-service. The value of IT systems, such as CRM, ERP, WMS, Finance, and PLM, is greatly increased when they all work together. Connecting and automating data and processes across these systems also drives the increased efficiencies needed to remain profitable in the competitive global environment.

This is not only true for large enterprises, but also for small and medium-sized businesses, in every country, and in every vertical market.

However, system integration projects are often feared as complex, lengthy and expensive. But that doesn’t have to be the case. Code-free visual application integration platforms with pre-built connectors and components provide a standard method for handling the flow of data between applications and systems, reduce the need for deep technical application knowledge, and can provide built-in capabilities to ensure that the entire solution is robust, stable and scalable.

With the digital transformation enterprise mobility and other projects on their plate, even IT departments that like to manage their own integrations in-house can be overwhelmed by the sheer number of projects and deadlines. This presents an opportunity for both vendors, implementers or partners for specialized applications for targeted vertical markets or partners of the giant vendors like Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, SugarCRM or IBM, to significantly grow their business by making system integration services a regular part of their portfolio.
