Magic Software Appoints First West African Partner

Magic Expands Into Nigeria with Satson Global Network Ltd

Magic Software South Africa will drive the growth of Magic products into Africa starting with Nigeria and moving on to other English-speaking countries. The partnership with Satson will see the company using Magic’s products to develop applications for its own use and for its customers, as well as to act as a Magic reseller in Nigeria.

“We have a strategic five-year plan to substantially grow Satson, and Magic xpa and Magic xpi are key elements to this transformation,” says Shakirudeen Lasisi, executive director of Satson.  “Magic delivers productive tools that are easy to learn and meet our requirements for developing robust software applications and for implementing integration projects quickly, cost effectively and efficiently. The write once, deploy anywhere on almost any platform capability of Magic xpa is extremely valuable. There is a vast potential market for enterprise mobility in Nigeria. Many enterprise business operations can be conducted on mobile devices and this is a big market opportunity for both Magic and Satson.”

Daniel Hall, VP of sales and marketing at Magic Software SA says, “Africa had been identified as a future growth market that would benefit from the value Magic products deliver. We have been looking for an established, reliable and qualified partner in Nigeria and Satson is a natural fit. Totake advantage of the fast growth of mobile technology in Africa, cost effective mobile application solutions that are easy to learn and guarantee quick development and deployment are crucial. This is where we make the difference and Satson will add value with its regional expertise.”

Satson’s technical staff has already completed a successful training program at Magic Software SA’s head office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
