Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: MGIC), a global provider of end-to-end integration and application development platforms, announced today a dedicated task force to support its upcoming Web client release.
The global task force will promote and support the new Web client capabilities to all existing Magic xpa customers while also reaching out to new potential clients by launching global marketing efforts. The task force will be led by Yuval Lavi, the Global VP of Technology and Innovation at Magic Software, who has over 20 years’ experience in the software industry including his former position as General Manager and co-owner of Kopel Reem Software, a Magic Software solution provider.
Oded Lavee, who will be responsible for global sales support for the Web client, has more than 25 years’ experience in development tools, applications and integration projects. He worked for five years in Magic’s Japanese branch as a senior consultant and also served as Magic Software’s VP of research and development and CTO of Hermes Logistic Technologies Ltd., a subsidiary and Magic Software partner.
John Verwaaijen, who will drive global sales of the Web client, previously served as the country manager and commercial director for Magic Benelux and business unit manager at Pecoma Projecten where he led major business integration projects. As announced in November of last year, with this release, Magic is addressing its customers and partners’ needs for Single Web Application development, providing its loyal customers with access to the newest and most advanced programing frameworks, enabling them to leverage these new capabilities to quickly and efficiently develop high-quality applications. The Web client is a joint effort between Magic’s R&D departments in Israel, India and St. Petersburg.
