Magic Software Ready for Rapid Growth with New Partner Program

Magic Software Enterprises has launched a new business unit and partner program for managing global integration partners with a focus on rapid growth.

In addition, Magic has appointed Stephan Romeder, who has been with the company for more than 20 years, as vice president of global business development. He is charged with fostering strategic global partnerships to expand Magic’s reach in the integration market.

The Integration Partner Program is designed to address the rapidly growing integration opportunity resulting from digital transformation, cloud migration and the deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) services, according to Magic. The company provides end-to-end integration and application development offerings.

Romeder tells Channel Partners that analysts predict the global application integration and middleware (AIM) software market will continue to grow faster than the overall infrastructure software market, with revenue on pace to surpass $27 billion in 2017, up 7 percent from 2016

“And this is exactly what we see in all the requests from partners and end-customers,” he said. “To meet this need, Magic has decided to establish an indirect channel that will enable us to become the market leader in this segment. Based on the new partner program, the new business unit ACP (alliances, channel, partners) works with the partners and regulates the possibilities of cooperation to enable them to achieve a successful market presence.”

The Magic xpi Integration Platform acts as middleware to allow data to be shared between eCommerce, CRM, ERP, and backend financial and manufacturing systems to “improve operational efficiency and the customer experience, and support data-driven projects, such as digital transformation,” Magic said.

The partner program’s three tiers (Explorer, Gold and Platinum) allow partners to select the type of relationship that best matches their business model with an opportunity to select a “high level of engagement, commitment and benefits to strengthen their strategy for long-term growth.” The program is actively recruiting ISVs, OEM partners, SIs, value-added distributors, VARs and consulting companies.

Key elements of the program include: comprehensive training to enhance integration skills; joint marketing events and activities including webinars; professional services training; and a partner portal with access to tools and training materials.

“The biggest hurdle for software houses, ISVs, SIs, etc., is always the in-house development of interfaces and their maintenance and support,” Romeder said. “This is greatly facilitated and indeed eliminated by using the Magic integration platform. With the Magic partner program, the partner will be able to quickly and easily solve their integration requirements and generate additional business.”

Novulys is a Microsoft CRM partner in France.

“We are glad signing this strategical partnership with Magic Software, which is key for us in order to provide our customers with a state-of-the-art approach regarding information systems integration,” said Didier Fleury, Novulys partner associate.
